The next Daytona is later production (5 lug wheels). I'd go for the later one, there were some improvements between the two. It wasn't hydraulic so you had to press down with crazy pressure to engage it. Can't say I would want to take it in traffic. It also had some serious turbo lag, though in my opinion I always thought that was pretty fun.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5112355325821745788.post-21960485995960589892012-10-30T00:46:03.975-07:002012-10-30T00:46:03.975-07:00i'm so glad i'm not this guy's neighbo...i'm so glad i'm not this guy's neighbor.

although i admit i'm always tempted to photograph geos of that era.

those are some old parked cars.Tony Piffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13118128463425138509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5112355325821745788.post-90499501578039042652012-10-24T13:16:58.517-07:002012-10-24T13:16:58.517-07:00A Turbo Caravan-well, Voyager is featured in this ...A Turbo Caravan-well, Voyager is featured in this OPC post:
http://www.oldparkedcars.com/2011/06/unforgettable-pair-1988-isuzu-i-mark.html
Badass Daytonas, the one in the grass is the parts car I bet.Justinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5112355325821745788.post-3924835991130936262012-10-20T18:09:45.453-07:002012-10-20T18:09:45.453-07:00oh hellz yeah, the turbo z and what looks like a s...oh hellz yeah, the turbo z and what looks like a standard turbo model. these were some of the coolest looking import fighters of the 80's. they supposedly made an AWD V8 one off called the Daytona Decepzione. it had the V8 from the Lambo Jalpa and all wheel drive from Shelby. they gave it the ca bosh after they found out the max clearance of the oil pan from the road was an inch and a half, engine was too tall supposedly. wish I could find a good pic of it. you guys should see if you can find a turbo caravan with the 5 speed in it next, that would be amazing.great white tiburonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00663487163589750583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5112355325821745788.post-90423678902999811882012-10-20T13:45:54.173-07:002012-10-20T13:45:54.173-07:00perfect color combo. red-gray. this particular com...perfect color combo. red-gray. this particular combo color was very popular for this gen. of daytona turboZSwiftman007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5112355325821745788.post-9233998789220673002012-10-20T04:36:45.824-07:002012-10-20T04:36:45.824-07:00The doors look very Delorean-ish, wouldn't you...The doors look very Delorean-ish, wouldn't you say.Mikaelnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5112355325821745788.post-719547175615486012012-10-19T20:45:47.586-07:002012-10-19T20:45:47.586-07:00Looks like the owner is starting a Geo collection ...Looks like the owner is starting a Geo collection too. I suppose it's nice to have a complete parts car, when replacement parts are rare. Love the center vent, and the rims. The rear looks a lot like a Capri. Turbo Z...following the 80s rule to add a weird letter to make something cool.
