The paint is all original same with the engine and everything besides a 650cfm 4bbl carb. I get 10mpg and it has a fuel cell in the back. Ill post some pics of the rebuild on here!galaxiebmrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04651664120563453630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5112355325821745788.post-80802388386151813422011-03-09T09:02:03.103-08:002011-03-09T09:02:03.103-08:00XLent comments comparing it to the out-of-reach ov...XLent comments comparing it to the out-of-reach overpriced muscle cars. I have a 68 XL $500 Convertible; according to the VIN it was born with a 428 but for some reason it has a 302 now. I know an old guy who had a 428 wagon - in the day - said it got 8 MPG, maybe that's why? 160 mile range..?! And man, do these cars ever RUST. The body AND the frame have rust-thru and rear body has had major repairs... TWICE...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5112355325821745788.post-80504230649162123862011-01-12T22:24:14.122-08:002011-01-12T22:24:14.122-08:0068? Looking at the styling, it looks like it's rival was the 68-70 Charger.
