Andy's 1972 Dodge Sportsman RV.
My father-in-law lives a life without a lot of responsibility. When we were renovating our house, Andy would fly up and live with us for six months at a time, work on the house, and then head back to Arizona whenever funds for materials ran out.
When we visited him this summer, I had the chance to document his rolling home. I don't know the model of the RV conversion, but at this point it bears little resemblance to whatever it once was. I understand there were once sleeping quarters over the cab, but he had to get rid of it because the wood frame was so dry-rotted. More recently, I heard that he turned the entire back wall into a hinged ramp in order to park his motorcycle inside.
Thanks again for everything, Andy.

I think this makes eleven: Ben's 1980 Toyota Corolla Wagon.
I only saw this car one time before Ben sold it. I see it driving around town on occasion but haven't had the chance to photograph it under someone else's ownership.

Volvo, We Barely Knew Thee: Tony's 1986 245.
We bought this Burgundy Brick on Christmas Eve 2012 from a professor in Ashland, OR. It had 125k miles, complete service records and some needs, and we paid $1,000 for it. We made the 300-mile return trip home that same night without issue. After another $1,000 in parts and labor, it was the low-mile, well-maintained roadtrip-mobile we hoped it would be, except my wife figured out that she just was just totally burned out on 240s. So away it went to a fortunate new owner for $2,500, and we moved on to a slightly newer rig that has airbags and air conditioning, but alas--no third-row seat in the crumple zone.

A Christmas Miracle? Ben's 1987 Toyota Corolla FX16 GT-S.
It's a miracle only in the sense that Ben has been driving this little pocket rocket for six months, and I finally photographed it today. I wanted to shoot it secretly on Christmas Eve and then post it as a surprise for Ben, but that proved impossible. So here it is!

The car is now on its way to Seattle with a knowledgeable Volvo lover and OPCer. In the next year, he plans to give it a new black paint job and eventually swap in a 16 valve B23 Turbo hybrid engine.
