That's a very happy looking old 4Runner. Sorry to say though, that looks like independent front suspension instead of a solid front axle, which would mean it's after '85. In the US, the 1985 4Runner and Hilux/Pickup were the last of the solid front axles and the first with EFI, so they're highly sought after. In the old days, I had an '88 4Runner that looked almost identical to this one.

This can't be an '85, as it does indeed have an independent front end. The grill is from an '84 or '85, though. Still a nice rig, and if equipped with a 5-speed, one I'd like to have.
