I KNOW this car.... it's mine! Bought it 39 years ago in Vancouver WA from an ad in The Oregonian (people used to read and place ads in that paper back then). The car had a build date of September 1, 1939, the day Hitler invaded Poland and started WW II. Gas tank is primered red because it was just cut open and cleaned to get the rust out; now it runs smoothly without clogging the gas lines and carbs!
The beauty of the Historic plates in Oregon is that once you pay for them, you never have to re-register every year or every other year..... so there is not annual registration fee!

I think the Historic plates are kind of silly. Isn't that obvious by looking at it?
i have actually bought "produce" at that quik-e mart. i think it was a banana.

These are some incredible classics. early 19's were definitely the right time to a car revolution.
