i'm surprised the comet doesn't get more classic cred. i'm a fan of every generation. such great proportions, such tasteful angles.

hilarious how clean and intact this one is, considering how little apparent effort is being spent to keep it nice.

There is always at least one flat. Why is that? Just like every parked RV seems to have a tarp on it..

The whole Merc line had the "Lincoln Look" that year. For 1965 they put a Mercury grille on the Lincoln and that didn't work out as well

I don't know what Mercury called the color, but I always thought of that shade on Fords as Texas Yellow.

Mike I got to say I love the 65'Lincoln. That & the 68 are the only two Lincoln's from the 1960s where from a side profile if the parking lights are on you can see both the back and front lit. That's my dream, owning a 65' convertible. I have to admit I kind of like the grille.
