Very nice post! This babe's in great condition.

Very surprised it survived all these years. One could be a half a block away and will be able to hear that high pitch famous Chrysler slant six engine starting up.

Nothing in the world sounds like a Slant Six. And even the MoPar starters had their own sound back then, they used to call it the "Highland Park Hummingbird"

None of these survive where I live. See some restored (aka hot-rodded) Darts and Valiants in the summertime but the Aspens and Volares have all rusted away...

man, there's only a very specific demographic that puts novelty baseball caps on the dash/parcel shelf. seems like there's often a kleenex box accompanying the hats.

glad to see apparent confirmation that this does not belong to some stupid teenager or ironic, anti-car hipster. ...actually, now that i think about it, most of the times i see darts/valiants/aspens moving down the road, the drivers have silver hair. and that is a wonderful thing. this car has probably spent its whole existence parked in the same garage.

i had to go back through the aspen tag to remind myself that this is not, in fact, the first aspen wagon that's been posted.

Great spot! Another car that was definitely NOT cool 30+ years ago, but has transmogrified into something hip and cool! (if you can find one)
