Hey it's Ferris Bueller's mother's car.

Compared to a lot of the other junk Chrysler was making in the 70's and 80's, these actually weren't such bad cars.... If it weren't for the gaudy faux woodgrain crap, it'd even look nice. (Guess they had some leftover from Grand Wagoneers?)

We had an 85' LeBaron four door. Bought it brand-new and lasted through either the very late 90s or the early 2000's.... Anyway I noticed those pink color plants-flowers on the top photo it caught my eye..

The k car was brilliant. A car with a purpose. Which was function and it fulfilled. Lasted forever many became taxis when they were 10 years old. Anyhow my truck was totaled by one of these in the middle of the night by somebody driving down the sidewalk. Left that heavy rubber trim hanging from my bumper.
I kept the trimmed in the truck for months I knew I'd cross a k car sooner than later,
One day in the middle of a blow out fight with my girlfriend. We pulled up in the store parking lot and sat in silence.
She said we are parked next to the car. I said what the hell? What car? The car you have been looking for. Old dude would go into diabetic shock and go out at night and not remember. Troopers put him in for a retest. His insurance paid for my truck.I ended up with his address and would drive by. The k car never moved again. I knew it and wanted to let it go that day but the trooper said we can't have people comatose driving down the sidewalks. I knew he was right.
