The Blazer is an iconic ride, many mans best friend and more stylish than any Mercedes G or Range Rover.

I used to have one just like this! THIS was an SUV! No leather interior or heated cup-holders, just a solid truck, which rides and drives great; is comfortable, and yet is off-road capable, durable, and cheap and easy to fix on the rare occasions something goes wrong. They even get good mileage for a full-size truck!

Find a rare one with a stick, and you've REALLY got something!

One of the last great Chevys, and the last GM product I owned. Pretty much everything they've made since has been crap.

These things were even surprisingly sporty; they were peppy, and had a light touch, and with the short wheelbase, you could whip them around nimbly. (Then again, I can say the same about my V-10 Excursion....but it gets only 10MPG instead of the Blazer's 15)

But, what idiot designed the grill/headlight doors for this model year? They have to be the worst! (Actually, pretty much all of the 80's were a wash-out for Chevy truck front-ends). This style was not only ugly, but very flimsy.

You can retro-fit an early 70's grille to these models
