The owner (in the blue hoody) told me that only 7,000 of these cars were made, and she only knew of 2 others in Oregon.

Seeing this car around the neighborhood last summer was the original kernel of inspiration for Old Parked Cars, but by the time we got things rolling in December, the two-tone gem had long since vanished into winter storage. Its curbside appearance yesterday heralds the arrival of Spring and many long months of prime Portland car-watching. Happy Day.
