love lookin at these things. i think the custom paint choice is remarkably tasteful. there's another similar pickup posted way back when...

Gorgeous old Dodge truck / van thing. Previous poster is correct - the paint job looks surprisingly good. Maybe it's the way the natural lines of the body are divided by the white and red paint. I'd love to own one of these one day but at the same time wouldn't feel very safe in a front-end collision.

The New York Central and then Penn Central had a fleet of these in mustard yellow. They used the Ford E100, too.
They installed a carriage system which was lowered to run the trucks on the standard gauge rail and the crews would service the rail right-of-way with these vehicles.

I'm the Owner; Correction...
1965 is the year, got the Truck from a guy in Chicago that got it from Arizona, not much rust...
Chicago owner put a built 360 & 3spd Auto with a 8.3/4 Posi rear... needless to say, the Truck Really Hauls...
Go Scooter Go is from doing Scooter Rallies and having up to 4 Lambrettas & Vespas in the bed, had to have the Tailgate down...
The Blue Stars came about because it was Made in America, I added them on 9/11...
Safety Concerns, well, I was T-Boned turning left by an A'Hole driving in the Bus Lane when I turned left in front of him, cause I couldn't see him doing 50mph in the bus lane!!!! This car went under the truck and flipped us around like we were pulling out of Autozone... Anyways, I drove home, the Lincoln LS was totaled...
It' Safe & Crash Tested !!!!!

Best part of this Truck is doing Big Burnouts and the neighborhood kids cheering the Truck on, and the Sour look of the Prius owners face at the end of the block...

Cheers, G'3
