Holy crap, another Axxess in the span of 4 months!
This one looks way better than the first Axxess that was posted, that's for sure.
Great find!

What a piece of unadulterated garbage these cars were and are.

What is it about Japanese cars from around this year? They were all competing for a background shot in Total Recall. The designs learned a few lessons from their awkward early imports, but before they smoothed out shapes too much in the 90s.

regarding the comment that these cars were garbage, I'm not sure I agree.

I had a friend who was a paraplegic. Owning one of these vans meant that he could get around independently. He could even transfer himself from his wheelchair to the drivers seat and then stow the wheelchair in the back seat and close the door. For individuals with similar needs, this van is a genius design, IMHO.

Very cool, remember riding in one of these. If I recall this had sliding doors on each side which was rare at the time.

To me the trailer is more interesting, it looks very much of a foldable big tent, like Combi Camp & other brands of trailer tents we have here in Europe.

I haven't seen anything like that in US earlier.

hmmmmm, i know an axxess van in this color that i see parked inside a tire yard on my daily commute through northeast.

this kind of looks like that neighborhood.

i didn't think the van ever moved.

although i suppose there could be two in this town in the same color.
