i need to go back to this neighborhood and remind myself what the heck is going on in this picture.it looks like the jungle, but i think it's a residential pocket tucked in the middle of an industrial zone in the middle of close-in residential southeast portland.
i detoured by it this morning on my way to work, and the car is now parked across the street. i also noticed that it has current tags. i failed to notice whether the "sell your car to me" note was there...
notes tag added.
I didn't understand where it is located...is the car available now for sale...
OMG! One of my first cars. Paid $50.00 for it at the local ford dealership. It was 4 or 5different colors with a rag hanging out the gas filler! (much laughter here) I painted it a dark Turquoise with a dozen or so spray cans my BIL gave me. He bought a case of the stuff to repaint a '65 Chevy Impala Super Sport he had at that time. Wound up selling it for $250.00! Not a bad flip for a teen-age kid in 1973.
So dang good. Not many, have this many stories to tell.
