I would not type this if I didn't think I was correct. I want to say the 76 Pinto is the only year that is a unique Pinto. 71–75 all of the same grill. 77–78 & 79-80 have the same grill as well. Actually maybe you can tell a 75 from the 71-74 as well due to the unleaded gas decal on the car. my Aunt had a 75 Pinto wagon. I remembered those bucket back seats, the car was light blue ( no woodpaneling ) with blue interior.
GM's version of the bullet mirrors looked better, but these look good too.Tha Ram provides some interesting perspective

Got a soft spot for Pintos. Kinda funny though, in the states... there seems to be a lot of original Pintos still on the road. I live in Canada, and the only Pintos I've seen are in wrecking yards or restored. We've got a lot of Chevettes on the road up here.
This was probably as good as it got in Pinto-land back in the day! Love the wire wheelcovers. I gotta think they are original! Very classy! Like so many others....35 years ago this wasn't cool, but now it is!
