Best of 2011? The pictures really do justice for this beauty.

These were still being used as taxis in Buenos Aires in 2002, when I visited.

Hell, back in 2002, cops still used bathtub Caprices and first gen Vics.
505s are sexy, and this one looks brand new.

That's my car :-) The stats: 218,000 well preserved miles, original paint, always garaged. 1-owner car up till last year. Drives as good as it looks. 5-speed and leather interior in similar excellent shape!

My cousin had a nearly identical one decades ago. The shocks finally wore out on it, and ironically, that's what killed it off. I seem to remember the best he could do on them was around $500 each, and the car just wasn't worth $2,000 in flawless condition (at that time; it's probably worth more now).

OT: I was in Salinas last week and came across a Rover 3500S. The spare was mounted on the trunk. Cell phone pics, I'll try to forward them to you.

Miles, sent you a message through the Peugeot group but not sure you got it?
Here's my twin to yours at 63,000 original miles;

Peugeottogo, I am in love with your car; the later 15" wheels and the fog lamps add a touch of classy sportiness! Another excellent specimen! And amazingly low miles!

This 505 was originally sold in Medford. The fog lamps, sunroof deflector and the splash guards were dealer installed. I've owned 14 505 models prior and through the years kept a lot of extras including the later 15" wheels. I don't think the original owner used it as a a second vehicle but maybe a third or forth. These 505's are becoming harder to find in better than average condition. Mine will hibernate the winter garaged until next spring here in central California. Jeff
