Nice spot, but not an 87. First generation GSL's were available 81-85.

Love your blog, keep up the great work!

Is it always raining in Portland?

It would be so tempting to do that guy a favor and rub all of the "creative" pinstripes off.

Did you guys consciously set out to pick up the red tones in the surrounding environment with the leaves, the red car in the background on the last picture and the brick on top of the retaining wall? Or did you just get lucky?

Good choices or good luck. Either way, nicely composed.

thanks for the supportive words, anon. this blog is meaningful to me on many levels, not the least of which is the quality of the photographs themselves. i can't speak for ben, but no--i don't consciously set out looking for colors. sometimes you get colors that happen to "match" perfectly, and sometimes you get beautiful contrasts, and sometimes it's just the moody quality of the light that makes a photo.

happy day :)

That touch of red really caught my eye, and I really-really-really want to drive an RX-7! But definitely not on this wet of day. Man, they really did get carried away with the pin striping here. Up the hood and across the bumpers?

Ah well, the wheels are definitely working for me. The 80s brought about so many fun factory alloys. I wonder how much it costs to insure one?
