WOW.
Is it all original? If it is, it's probably the only one left.

Oh shit... those Dashers are VERY rare. I don't even remember seing those in the 70s and 80s, nevermind nowadays. Now, that is an elusive find.

what a great post. love how the pinstripes match the leaves on the ground and the trailer in the background.

of course it's been converted to biodiesel--this is a portland car, right?

These things are indeed rare. I am a scirocco enthusiast and i love these things. The older ones with the 2 doors and fast back look like a big scirocco lmao.

I am up here in the PNW and i actually saw one for sale about a year ago for 500 bucks. I didn't know they were thaaat rare!

I just bought a gasser Dasher 4-door hatch in white. I wish mine had sweet brown stripes. $500 in Portland...looks these only survived in the PNW.

We have a 77 Dasher for sale how much do you think it is worth?

I had a '77 Dasher for many years, I loved that car and still miss it. Is it abnormal to sometimes have dreams that the car exists in the back of the garage, covered up with a tarp? They were slow but very comfortable, good on gas, and good in the snow.
