Awesome stance! Cool color (plum crazy?) I'm going to assume that they cloned a Superbird instead of hacking the roof off one.

Ick. Dumb then, dumber now. Sorry, it had to be said.

Certainly it is a clone. What crazy would cut the roof of the Superbird? :)

oooooh, plum crazy superbird. It would look too weird with the top down though. still if you saw a superbird driving down the road wouldn't you just stare at it in awe until it was out of sight.

I had no idea these came in purple and with a ragtop!

There were no convertible Superbirds produced in 1970. This is either a Road Runner convertible that had a Superbird nose and wing stuck on it or a Superbird whose roof was hacked off.

yes, it's a clone, but how legit is this pic?

Barrett-Jackson morons spamming the comments in 3.....2......1.
Just kiddin'.
Anyways, this is something else. Plum Crazy looks completely bitchin' on this specimen.

I cannot fathom owning, driving, or even being seen in such a car. @Matheus Marques, you really hit the nail on the head.

Actualy, Plymouth has done three mule prototypes of a convertible Superbird. Two have been saved from the press by the employees back then.

Of course this one is a clone, but if someone claim that Convertible Superbird do exis, well, he's right.

I'm not sure but one of the two is known to still exist, blue I think. The second one is not located yet. It may have been destroyed later, in an accident, stored, abandoned, who knows ? It would be a damn great barn find !!!

Running Hippo is obviously running from reality. Plymouth made NO Superbird convertibles, this includes NO Mule cars or Prototypes. Typical clueless person, trying to reinvent history, into HIS story.

The Orange Hemi Convertible is in Denmark

That Danmark's Superbird ragtop somehow got number 23 in Vin number.. So,its coupe as of the beginning,it aint 27 which is the correct for convertible.

We took a 70 satellite convertible and attached 70 coronet fenders and a fiberglass reproduction nose. Complete rotisserie resto-fabrication. Neat project, glad to see it here.
