These are great cars- you can't kill them. A good friend of mine drove the @#%$ out of his. He always was able to service and repair it. It may be ugly but it is a really good car. Some people just don't understand- they need a car that makes a 'statement'. The statement here is simple. "Drive me".

Subaru's from the 70's and 80's are so fun. I'll give them credit, they are tough little machines.

Awesome survivor, love how the vert 80's pinstriping survived.

This was my father's first car in the 80s; he drove the thing into the ground, and was always able to repair it with no problems. That 4WD would climb hills with no problem, and he even helped out a stranded-in-the-snow Chevrolet Caprice by pushing it up an incline. Said he rebuilt the carburetor nearly six times, among other parts, yet the thing kept soldering on. It did eventually brake down on one of NYC's expressways though, and he left it with the intention to come back for it later in the day. When he did return, the car had been completely stripped. Glad people still have these and are still taking care of them!
