Wow, that profile shot shows what a weird car this is. Way too upright and way too much junk on the side for how short it is. Those taillights are the definition of weird rear lights.

nice pick-ups on the details. that rear view mirror is amazing, as is that little badge... You guys continue to blow my mind.

Yes! '58's have it going on! These are like the last cocktail of the night. You don't truly know what's in it, but you're going where it takes you.

These are really tough to get looking right, so hat-tip to the owner for not making it look crumpled with the panel alignment.

Gorgeous Thunderbird, gotta love 'em.

These 2nd-gen T-birds took a lot of styling cues from the same era Lincolns (which in my opinion were really ugly). There is a lot going on here. I prefer the '61-'63 ('62 is best) and the 1st gen as well. Nevertheless, these 'birds have aged well and this one is no exception.

Thanks for catching that T-Bird. Back in the early 70's, I had a bright aqua colored 1958 T-Bird that I loved. It was just so bizarre, especially in that color combination. Drove nice though.

SeattleO can't possibly be talking about the 1958 Thunderbird, s/he must mean a Pontiac Aztek or some kind of Kia. How "short" it is.... must be kidding! It's bigger than any production line car made in 2013.
