I wonder what "good times" were had in this van. If it didn't have windows it could pass for a pedo van.
That's wonderful. I love all the orange reflectors on this thing. Great colors, great "good times" model badge. Really cool. Love the large windows...I did always think that the silhouette of the earlier vans - where the front end was not pushed out - were much cooler looking. GM kind of messed up on this evolution of the design.
Love that 2-tone, the orange reflectors look nuts, in a good way that is.
I totally remember this van. I lived in Portland earlier this year, and remember this van vividly. Thanks.
these '80s conversion vans are pretty common and bland, compared with the true custom rigs of the '70s, and they don't elicit the same inspired feelings of wanderlust as a hilux rv or vw bus, but i suppose they'd make for potent roadtripmobiles. and holy heck, what is going on with those reflectors???
Good Times was a Texas conversion firm established in the early ’70s. More examples of their great badges.
