love the 2 cv one of my favorite french cars. I would love to know when it was last registered, the tag is all covered in moss. these cars are fascinating in the fact the suspension works like a see saw and because of how simplistic it is.

Gotta love the remnants of a flower sticker on the back.

This one is from 1965. Built between january and september to be precise. It's the "luxury" model : the AZAM. And it has all its USA market specificities... Just fantastic !

The 1965 2CV is very easy to notice. It has already the "normal" front doors (before that they opened on the other way -handle in front-) since january 1965. But the third side windows only appears in september 1965 (for the year model 1966) with many small details. So this one can only be from somewhere between this 2 dates cause it has the "normal" front doors but no third side windows.
Also this AZAM model has some specific trim : on the bonnet and around the rear doors windows. The one around the windshield, doors and sills are missing though. There is also a specific steering wheel (I don't know the english word for this kind of plastic material) when the basic model has the bare metal one.

Here the cover of my mag with a 1965 french 2 CV AZAM :

And here a 1965 year-model american AZAM (but from late 1964 with "suicide" front doors) :

Great blog by the way, love it !

Have you ever considered making either prints or high-quality .jpgs available? (You'd want to charge, of course, and I suspect you'd find plenty of folks willing to pay!) I can think of a half-dozen images from this site I'd love to have on my office wall....
