There's nothing like a fullsize 60's GM with patina and steelies and thin whitewalls.

Over here on the east coast NY/NJ I would remember seeing cars that were like that with the same color and dead paint with rust. Around 1979-82 one would see something like an older lady who would be in her mid 60's driving one of those 15 year old Pontiacs. It's just something you don't see anymore.

My parents had a 66 Catalina station wagon, same color as this car. It was a solid car that took a lot of punishment and abuse from a teenager (me) without ratting me out to dad. I loved the sound the high compression 389/Carter AFB combination at WOT. The only "let me down experience" was the nylon covered cam gear shedding a few teeth one night. Plenty of space to haul friends, yet cozy enough with room to spare with that special girl.
