Brown with puke tan stripes, talk about Malaise package. Love the front shot with the NSX in the BG.

Call it what you will, these little pickups were built tough! There were two of these
that were used to carry newspapers by their owners. One was a Chevy LUV (also
built by Isuzu) and a PUP similar to this one. Both of these trucks endured tremendous
abuse with no complaints at all. I personally saw these trucks squatting on their axles
after being loaded with nearly 500 Sunday papers each and was amazed at how they
were driven away by their owners with very little effort on the driveline. Point is, Isuzu
built one heck of a truck! Too bad you don't see many of them on the road today.

The sheet metal was so thin that the body left the frame before the OEM tires wore out. The bed was not double lined.
They were mechanically sound and drove well.

Love how everyone comments on this and doesn't give two shits about the NSX. This blog rules!

Mine was an 81 isuzu diesel. White on top with black rockers and a 3 tone blue stripe separating them. Baby Blue and black interior. It was a POS beater for my first vehicle. 20 years since I had her and I'd trade one of my kids to have her back.
