Awesome background!

Have to agree with anon.

Those little dog dishes look awesome, and original, especially against the black wheels & tires.

Picture #2 makes that longbed look loooong.

Waiting for another load of 2x4s or roof shigles to come out on the lumber store cart. Still doing a days work after all these years...just don't expect a 2015 model to do the same in 2053.

Great angles on all the shots. The setting really brings out the color on this 'Lux.

I actually own an '80 SR5 longbed, but this body style and grille is just superior. And that color. Beautiful. Kind of a reminder of what things were like at the time: bright, vibrant, hopeful. Compare to today's grey, silver, and white.

Owning a 4-cylinder probably helped during the oil crisis :D

this... is pure nostalgia.

memories of coasting into the hardware store parking lot with dad to fulfill his weekend honey-do list. the feel of the baked and cracked vinyl upholstery under my ass. Boston telling us to Don't Look Back on the crackly FM. the whine of the gears whining and winding down and the sound of loose change that fell behind the dash sliding back and forth with every turn. the buzzer from the ignition when the door was left open. that old toyota smell mixing with the tinge of fresh rain on blacktop.
