I can't get over how simple and beautiful these wheels are. I never would have guessed Honda had any part of the design.

So classy, and elegant. Great find.

My mom got one of these brand new in '91. She had the choice between a Sterling and an Acura and she thought Sterling sounded nicer. This car had so many problems.... what a mistake. The guys at the Rover dealership didn't even know what to do with it.

Never understood these Sterlings... they had the same engine as the 1st gen Acura Legend, yet were LESS reliable?? Kinda like the Mitsubishi Precis(Excel) had the same engine as the Dodge Colt, yet was a POS... and the Colt was reliable. Go figure.

There were no problems with the engine, as it was made by honda/acura. Range rover made the body and interior. The electrical system was all jacked up in the 88-90 models but they fixed by 91. I had a 91 it was perfect and awesome car! It sux they stop making them, probably stopped cuz nobody was buying them cuz of the fuk ups they had in earlier models.. If anyone knows where i can buy a 1991 sterling 827 sl please let me know, thanx!

My husband bought several Sterlings back in the early 90's and still has 3 of them sitting in our garage. They have been unused for the last 20 years and 2 of them are in primo condition. If anyone out there is a Sterling lover and is looking for that special car, please let me know. We are near Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I can be reached at 262-383-1144.
