It's awesome, but I don't know what is up with Celica owners and this style of wheel. And as with most Toyotas, everyone agrees the first generation is the most beautiful, but I think this survivor is still shows that the Celi was leaps and bounds ahead of most American cars of the era. That profile is rad, and this is a great color for a mini muscle car.

Those stenciled graphics make me cringe slightly, but at least someone hasn't attempted some of the modern cosmetic changes like hood scoops or racing decals.

God damn, those wheels are AWFUL.
Slap some Slot Mags on her.

These were pretty zippy compared to the competitors of the day. I think it would still be fun push to 90% in the twisties.

@ben: The 1972 Toyota Celica is a blatant 2/3 scale copy of the Ford Mustang. So, in the real world, Toyota was just copying the American manufacturer.

^ Yeah, but I'd rather ROCK the Celica, ANYDAY... the Mustang is an unreliable, typical Ford shitbox.

So I purchased this car back in september.... No real point to saying this, just thought it's kinda cool that my car is being recognised on someone's blog.
