That may have been a cartier or bill blass special edition. That parial vinyl roof and the trunk are weird for a '72.

Now it's special in a whole other sense of the word.

I don't think the designer series Mark IV's started until the 1976 model year. Could the vinyl on the trunk be a dealer or aftermarket addition?

Very, very nice car. This would be a very nice car to drive and ride in. With the power steering and power brakes the driver could comfortably hold and drink a cup of coffee. Seats are roomy, too. It also looks really sharp and it's wonderful to see this pretty survivor in such nice condition.

Is it true that these came standard with a leopard skin coat and a pimp hat?
