Ahhh the clashing with the FJ40 haha.

I hope this person knows what it has here. This car is so rare that its parts alone can fetch up to a 1/4 of a million or more.

Wooooo-eeeee, I love this car. I know these can fetch a lot, but 1/4 million parted out? Wow!

I prefer white but that orange looks nice, too. Thx to the photographer and owner.

LOL, that rubberseal spambot posted here too.
Great pics, that last shot is great.

Call me crazy but when I saw the first shot I thought "Mopar could have had a el camino/ranchero fighting 'cuda ute." does anyone else see it?

Think that earlier poster is a bit off re the value -- OK, way off -- but still, a neat car. And it would make a great ute, Calvin, though be a shame to lose that picture window.

what happens here is that this car, is rare. any one trying to restore the car as i've seen on a t.v. show( forget which one) from a rust bucket needs parts. in one time in the show someone was going to crush one of those for metal he had to buy the car only needed the back glass which may go as high as 1500 usd, (depending on the seller)bought the car for 1000.

i'm thinking commenter #2 is a comedian or an artist, in which case he's brilliant.

Mabye he was thinking pesos. great lookin barracuda. the whole car is awesome but the front is especially eye catching. just thinking that their may be a slant 6 under the hood makes me love it and want it even more.

You're all goofy. Coolest color on a 'Cuda, and much better shape than your last post of one of these. You guys have way too much fun. Give up your day jobs.

the ultimate color for any car!

The Cuda is indeed awesome but why ignore the Land Cruiser and what looks like maybe an early Bronco on the next corner lot?

Tony Piff said...

frankly, anon, lifted land cruisers and broncos are kind of a common sight in portland. i've pretty much stopped photographing them unless they have stock sized tires.

I'm the owner actually. It's a 1964 by the way. 225 Slant 6 with a push button 3 speed auto. Fun car! it was bought new by my Grand parents in Medford Oregon. Doubt its worth that much, but I'll never know because I'll never sell it! Fun to stumble on this.
