soooooo much white, crazy spoiler and the deepest rear offset bbs's I have seen on any one car = the wackiest 80's super car in the world. check out that rear duckbill, It's massive. It reminds me of the crazy motorbike and car modding style in japan called bosozoku. that's gotta be rare even for Oregon, I wonder where the owner found it?
It's from Alaska? Ten months out of the year it'd be impossible to find where you parked it.
wow talk about rarity! Gemballa porsches are almost impossible to find! Love those deep dishes wheels... And that too big wing is funny.
Crazy, crazy, crazy.And cool. Very cool.I commend you on your sharp sight. Photos are terrific!Kudos Tony!
I feel sorry for that poor car. There is so much wrong here, I don't know where to begin...
Fun to know this exists and try to figure out the history. Do we really believe that there were only 13 made? I really wish this had the Gemballa graphics, for some reason not having them makes me question its obvious authenticity. I suppose this might be a best of? Or a wackiest of. Just a shame that apparently they don't have performance to match the looks.
@tiburonthat's not a duck tail, it's a whale tail.
those mirrors are over the top
also: if it's not authentic then someone went to great lengths to recreate the color-matched red piped interior... the gauges don't look like gemballa units unless this is an early car. who would tackle making reproduction spoilers, body panels and mirrors for a car this rare? someone please find me an avalanche registry or some other way to trace this car's provenance.
this is a good website for anyone who wants to learn more about them.http://www.1000sel.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=57&Itemid=49the later ones actually had rear view camera's instead of mirrors, so if this one is real, it is an early model 1985. there were only 13 made and each had their own custom touches different from the others so this one may very well be real. Very interesting piece of machinery.
I want to drive around the pearl district blasting the theme to Miami Vice in this, wearing a sport coat with a t-shirt. and no socks.
Is this what they used for the Moby Dick prototype?
is'nt this from ghostbusters? The marshmallow car.
Holy crap, so 80's it's nuts-I love it.
I would chop off my left testicle to have this car.
