great generation of jeepster. that face is so freaking classic, and that profile is smack-you-in-the-face legit.

i wonder how many times this thing has been resprayed.

what are these white steel wheels? i know i've seen them on a lot of trucks. they totally match this, and they make the taller stance and bigger-than-stock wheels look factory. so cool. (although true stock is always a rarer and more special sight.)

i know the top lifts off--do the doors come off? does the window flip down?

Resprayed once- the green was a nice original color. The wheels are ubiquitous- (they used to be)$19.95 per wheel at your local auto parts store. I remember having a set and I couldn't give them away.

They're still among the cheapest wheels you can find - less than $60 each at JC Whitney (and free shipping !) They look fantastic on SO many pre-SUV-era rigs like this one.

That one ticks all the boxes for someone looking for a nice rugged sport-about.
