i'm barely able to resist the temptation of the flesh-colored econobox tag.

heck yes, i would drive this two-door SUV. in fact, we almost bought one about a year ago. the mechanic who inspected it said it was leaking like crazy and was completely out of oil, but the seller pulled the dipstick and showed me that the oil was perfectly full. i was disappointed that we ended up walking away from the car, but mostly i just felt bad for wasting the guy's time.

Ahhh yes, an early gen1 Trooper. I own two gen1s, and seeing this on OPC makes me smile. You NW folks must have had a lot of successful Isuzu dealerships back it the day, as I see lots of old Zus for sale in the Portland craigslist.

This one is particularly awesome, with it's faded 80s decals and the simple steel wheels. I so totally want this Trooper!

HAHAHaha!! These things were SO cheesy! The metal they were made out of was thinner than a Pepsi can! I picked one up once, with a bad engine, to re-sell...

A friend of mine (A little guy- 5'2" and slight build- saw it, and was all excited. Checking it out, he flings open the tailgate, and it just rips off it's hinges and goes flying off the "truck"!!! I'll never forget that! (easy fix, as the metal was easily bendable with bare hands!) Freaking death-traps!
