This is one of the only cars I can remember posting that I love from every angle except the side. Probably has to do with the drag tires standing out more. My eyes do not miss the headlights, in fact it took me a long time to realize they were hidden.
I've recently come to the conclusion that the 68 vette is America's e-type jag. Beautiful, to be sure. A little more brazen than the jag. A little more dangerous. A little less refined, perhaps, but not a bit less sexy. Chrome where it's called for, curves elsewhere. So good.
You're right about those wheels and tires, though. It's like putting Marilyn Monroe in ugg boots.
