I am stunned. Amazing transportation to another era. Every detail is a refreshing take on a period that I usually have zero interest in. Woh! Are those the mother-of-all grill indicators!? Get any closeups of that firedome typeface? Looks like a shot I wouldn't be able to pass up.

One of the best cars from the 50s I've ever seen.

Stunning is right. Can't believe those hubcaps. How cool are those? Looks like it weighs many tons. I love the bloated, heavy look. With those stubby fins. And a GREAT two-tone color combination.

So this is where Ferrari found the inspiration for the "flying mirror" on the 80's Testarossa.

I think it's great that all these 50's cars are still running around.
50's cars have so much design and flair to them that they are easily recognizable as to what decade their from. the later desoto's always looked lower and wider than the other cars and I dig that front end very cool ride. this one has a little more rust a brewin than the others. those lower door edges and rocker panels need some help before that gets outa hand.
