What strange cars these were.. 455 big blocks and FWD! These had the coolest speedometers though

yep, these things were unique. this one looks really interesting, the two grille inserts under the light's, the coffin type nose, the fact that it lacks a big grille and the fact that the front looks like an Olds but the rear looks like a Lincoln.this is one of the cooler looking 70's boats. great find.

I'm a huge fan of the lights under he rear window. I remember the first time I saw one of these and it just blew my mind. Must've walked around it five times.

Love how this has a unique look, as opposed to most 70s luxury blobs (not that they aren't cool too!). Never knew about those lights far back on the trunk; that's awesome. Superb condition, and nice hubcaps. Love the quad rounds without a grill, and the pointed trunk; which looks similar to the 80s LeBaron's trunk.

Absolutely love these, they're badass without vinyl roofs.

I bought a Toronado, a 72 when i was 19 to try and snag the girl i fell in love with back in 1978. i showed her the car and she outright snubbed me, broke my heart, but i love the car anyway and had a real hot time in the back seat with another girl. The car had a drinking problem though.

I bet that girl ended up with some jerk who buys a new Camry very two years. Good riddance.
