oooh, the 262 bertone. these things look cool and weird at the same time. the chopped roof line always made the rest of the car look out of proportion imo, but I do like that because it's different. I would drive this just for the fact that it looks like it has some of the comfiest seats known to man. it's like a late 70's office couch in there. Awesome find.

Oregon has the most impeccable taste. These cars are so weird yet so exclusive...loking. You love it but you dont know why.

Swedish land yacht-I love these Bertone coupes.
I don't want to know the horrors that lurk underneath that vinyl roof, however.

Yes, an interesting body style with the Bertone, but the V6 under the hood was crap. I've only attempted to repair one V6, and found that it couldn't be done; the cam goes flat. This owner has probably up-graded to the bullet-proof Volvo four.

I am the owner, and yes, the previous owner replaced the PRV engine with the red block.

That was once my car. I owned it while in college at the University of Oregon in the early 90's. I sold it to a Volvo mechanic which was next to what is now the Blairally. I just happened upon this pic by accident in a Google search for 262C. Funny since I live in Australia these days.
