sweet little truck! wonder who built this for 'em?

Nice wheel color and hubcaps, too. Very nice little truck.

Nice patina, love the mirrors as well.

Great ride! Simple and low cost, that's all most people need. Silly not to have a rear bumper, tho.

I always loved the first gen Japanese pickups. Everything was so functional- note the tie-downs on the bed sides and the tail gate. Mazda built these for Ford. Isuzu built the LUV (light utility vehicle) for Chevrolet, and Mitsubishi built the D50 for Dodge. The big difference on these trucks was they didn't have the Wankel rotary engine. It's such a shame that the 'mini-pickup' (per se) is a thing of the past. Tacomas and their ilk are just about full-sized anymore.

Love these early Couriers. Something about those two big headlights is just super cool. Great condition, cool color. The big mirrors are sweet too.
My dad had one of these early ones. According to him, it wasn''t really amazing or horrible. Just kinda average.

I agree that it is a pity there aren't any mini pickups made. I saw a Ford Courier is still made in S. America. Wish they could bring it up here.
