pretty dang sure this is an '86, but isuzu stuck with this body style until 1991--including the wing windows! white factory steelies killin it, too.

Definitely an '86 - it seems like that year outlasted a lot of the earlier and later square headlight years. I had a gold '86 2 dr Trooper II just like this and in great shape...it was my first vehicle in high school around 1995. I didn't appreciate it enough then - incredibly underpowered for its weight, but it's such a cool old truck, and I've got such fond memories of it - until I wrecked it in an accident.:/ I miss that slow old beast dearly!

Oh and if I remember right, the way to distinguish the '84-85 from the '86 is by the 4WD badge on the pillar - the '84/85 had a square plastic badge, then in 86 they started puting the sticker decal.

I drove an '86 just like this one, same color and everything, from Houston to Guatemala this summer. The truck is older than I am... This is one of the greatest people-movers of all time.

to whom it my concern out there I need real bad window latches for my 1986 Isuzu trooper 2 for back sliding windows. I need the window locking latches to lock my windows shut.Could possible any one out in the 1986 land of owners has a set to sell me.E=mail at gjwbuttercup@gmail.com put subject as window latches.Please if someone has a set I wish to buy.Thank you Gaylene.
