With too much pedigree to be contained under one brand, the Colt's 24 year heritage was swathed in the love of Mitsubishi, Eagle, Plymouth and Dodge.

And the tail lights really set off the rest of the party-package.

I have had this car for @ 15 years and in the time I have had it I have only seen one other one. Mine is beginning to rust, finally. It is a neat shade of blue. Just wonder what I am driving since they must be pretty rare. Read once where most were sold in Europe with only a few hundred in the US. Anyone know anything about this car?

I have 1989 Colt no rust and it has only 90,000 miles on it, it is a great car.

Just sold my 89 Plymouth Colt DL Wagon today to a neighbor for $60.

Bought it nearly new in 1990.

Does anyone know where I can get a tail light for a 1989 Plymouth Dodge Colt Wagon? I've been trying to find one everywhere and can't seem to....

I have a 1989 Colt with zero rust but it looks like it is primer grey (it's not). I'm going to paint it, since it runs so good. Any suggestions on the color? Pink, purple, rust orange? I want something different as my niece will end up taking it to college. I just bought it and drove it from Missouri to Michigan.

I have a 1989 Blue Plymouth Colt DL that I have driven for 16 years. I, too, am interested why I have only seen one, which is just like the grey one pictured above. My mom, the previous owner also only ever saw one. Mine still has not reach the 110,000 miles mark. Are these rare or only a few made. This has a Mitsubishi engine. Have never had to put any real money in it in the years I've owned it. Really super cheap on gas. I couldn't even find a picture of it until I saw this website.
Selling it before long, just trying to get info.
