Dead match to my first car at 16, including the color. Manual choke, speedometer by Fisher Price (it was a little red ribbon on a horizontal line) and, back in 69, bucket seats with adjustable lumbar support. Also featured heater vents to the rear seat you could turn on and off.

But, handled like a pig, slow as my brother's Beetle, crappy heater for a Scandahoovian car and got 19 mpg on the highway.

What a beauty! I wonder if that's a repaint, or has it just been garaged all its life?

@Mikael - looks like FIN (I'm assuming Finland?). Not sure what you're thinking...

^ yeah that's what I thought. Maybe it's the owner's idea of a funny souvenir :)

Surprisingly clean example, tho. I bet tyres of that size must be hard to find.
