If my wife would only let me, I'd have a fleet of mid-70's AMC beauties like this one parked in my yard!

Amazing that Portland Oregon has hundreds of old cars still registered on the streets or drives around the city. Its mind boggling.

My husband always wanted to turn one into an aquarium.

I thought it was a pregnant guppy.

Under rated design...If only the built quality and the engine were better.

Awesome mint car, this "Johannes Roussel" guy is an idiot, the engine was the LEGENDARY 258 6. BEST I6 engine EVER. Those things will run 250-300k++ and are the best part of this car. Biggest issue was the plastic interiors which crumbled under the UV allowed in by the greenhouse windows.

And those that criticize the pacer as ugly fishbowl, it is EXACTLY like all cars today, wide and round. Pacer was just the revolutionary first which all now copy.

we're all fans of AMC design here, anon, but that is, quite literally, the first time i've ever heard a positive comment about their build quality, in any regard.

Great condition, and speaking of glass, I know a junkyard where there is three Pacers, and two of them have perfect quarter panel windows.
