also known as Mitsubishi Colt in northern Europe. At least some of them were sold with a quirky 2x4 range transmission.

Horror-tag from Mikael!

Wow, never thought I'd say this about a Colt but there's something about this one that I really like.

had one of these with the power/economy dual transmission in a 4 speed, quirky but good. both bumpers rotted off but otherwise a good car

greatest college car ever. Hi Lo four speed made you feel like a race car driver. Replaced my champ with a colt, then another. Wish I could find one, I'd buy it pronto. Champ and Colt could get 40 plus mpg.

Man I loved that Car!

I have one! this little car is amazing with its twin stick transmission it gets around 35 in town and 40 on the highway. The car is real fun to drive ours needs some body work but its not bad and it only has 60k miles on it!!

Just bought an 84 colt 4dr twin-stick hatchback with 64K on the odometer. Grandma's car, perfect glass, mint black and grey velour interior, everything works, arrow straight but with very faded exterior. Problem is, grandma never changed oil... ever! The motor has seized but I bought a replacement G12b 1.4liter motor from a wrecking yard in Atlanta GA with 51K on it. It's been sitting in their warehouse since 1987. Paid $400 for the car $450 for the motor and shipping. Can't wait to get this back on the road and shift through all those gears. 8 forward and two back...ha ha. I'm in Tacoma WA and plan on painting it Seahawks Green and Blue with a big ass "12" on the hood. ( hmm, maybe i should paint it Indianapolis Colts logos and colors instead and make a ton of money off of it?...... naw! Go Seahawks!!!) Anyway I am really thrilled to have found this and hope it is as cool as all the comments I've seen about these little cars. I'm hoping to get upwards of 50 mpg. (be still my heart!)
