Amazing. You guys are amazing. What haven't you found? This was another one of Bricklin's awful ideas. When Consumers Union tested it, they rated it "not acceptable."
To finish the horrors of Bricklin, you guys need to find a Bricklin SV-1 and a Yugo. Good Luck (although you may have already found them.)

well shit.

seems like these come up on ebay pretty regularly but never in running condition. this one has bout ten times the "stance" i expected.

it'd be fun to put a hyabusa in and just never let the back wheels grip the pavement.

so, big props on finding this, obviously.

bigger props on making these photos count in a major way. photographing a white car lit directly overhead is a feat.

plz send me the full-res image to use as a future banner image.

tryin to think what the heck i could find that would match this.

well done, bean.

Well...these photos prove that the sun does shine out there where you're at...

Love your blog.

okay, the idea didn't stem from bricklin, but from the harsh regulations in japan. former airplane factory nakajima hikoki kk later fuji heavy industries launched those eggshells to provide sub-basic transportation for those poor-devil japanese in the post-war austerity. they rusted out faster than the timespan needed to start the engine and i wonder how they dared to survive half a century?

supposedly there's a collection of these sitting at the bottom of the San Francisco bay because no one wanted them after the crash tests were preformed by consumer reports and it would cost allot to send them back so they just dumped them over the side of the ship, whither its true or not is anyone's guess. it is a crazy cool little kei car though. tony has the right idea, stick a good bike engine, beefier trans and axles back there and hear the tires scream for mercy as you burn rubber in all the gears and still get 50+ mpg.

Never seen this kind of a car before. It almost likes like a VW bug.

If you're looking for a Yugo there's one parked over near 8th Street in Corvallis, somebody who lives around there owns one.
