Love these cars! Don't quite care for fart cans but it somehow looks good on this car.
imagine if that was the vg30e v6 model, then it would be a monster, not the most powerful variant in stock form but the most unique.that engine looks cool though. it looks like the 1.8 sohc turbo it's got the v6 hood though. all around nice car, rarely seen or tuned. looks like it was originally red. great find.
I remember these custom wheels from the 80's. I was always concerned about them overheating the brakes. Doesn't it seem like they wouldn't allow for proper ventilation?
Those wheels fit it perfectly. Totally dig it.
Very good drift machine
Actually that is a 1984 Turbo hood. So this car could be an '84. Those hoods are often transplanted onto other years though.I own an '88 SE V6 and the hood is bulged to clear the intake manifold, but it does not have the faux scoop like this one.
The CA18ET and DET have pretty solid reps for being light weight sources of big power. Would have loved to drive this one, and it was for sale on Craigslist for $1500-2000 with a rebuilt engine and a lot of other replaced bits. Very tempting, if only the wife could appreciate 80s hatchbacks.
I now own this car! Swapping turbo's on it currently, couldn't believe it was on this sight, mad love for oldparkedcars! Thanks everyone for the compliments on the S12!
My buddy just bought this car. 4 years later. Has coilovers and aftermarket bits. Was told it has a ca20e bottom end thats built. We will see. Email me if you are curious about its current state. JarodSchulman@gmail.com
