This car is oddly appealing to me. Clean lines, understated elegance. I like it.

Wow, another one, same color, same trim level...but certainly not the same condition. 99.8 percent showroom condition.
Love the body cladding tag.

I definitely never expected to see another one, and it was especially ridiculous to see it within two weeks of this, this and this.

These just keep getting better and better. There's a bit of Mazda 929 in those lines.

Awesome. Great find. I haven't seen one of these in YEARS.

A severely underrated car, and (though you'd never know it) the engineering inspiration for the wildly successful Chrysler LH cars of 1993-1997. The original plan to sell it as a Renault fell through when Chrysler bought AMC; the revised plan to sell it as an Eagle was maybe not the best idea either. Beautiful condition and good spec on this one (ultimate would be the ES Limited) - they may find some collectibility someday.

I had one of these in high school in the mid 90s. My friends thought it was an Audi 5000. My sisters boyfriend hit the front turn signal lends so I went to my local Jeep/Eagle dealer for a replacement and he asked 'Why, you have to have the only one running left.' That was 1997 when it was just 5 years old. It finally died with 215,000 miles. I needed a tranny.. go figure

I think the base for this car was an european Renault 25, right ???

Yep, a Renault 25 restyled for the American market.

The appealing lines are the work of Giogetto Giugiaro...the first '88 and '89 models had "Design Giugiaro" badges, but he made them take it off when they restyled the car for 1990.

An even rarer find would be a 1990-92 Dodge Monaco which was the same car intended to boost sales. Part of the deal for buying AMC from Renault was an agreement to sell 260,000 of these cars over 5 years. They only sold 139,000 of them and had to pay Renault a big penalty.

I believe I've seen one of the lowest mileage example 1990 Dodge Monacos in the country. The search function is your friend ;) But interestingly, the owner told me it's a 1990 and it still has the Giugiaro badge.
