Was wondering if you guys shot this when it was in the background of the red Elan.

Man, they dropped some serious money in to this thing.
To the extent that the tinted glass and disc brake rear end is not from that model. And that's a several thousand dollar paint job.

A little too good, for my liking, but glad one got saved and done up all the same, without screaming flash and cash.

a little too nice for my taste as well, but i'm not surprised to hear an opc reader agree.

you could say this is a blog about patina, and you'd be right, but this is still a dang appealing car that looks better than anything i'd want to buy new off a lot today.

Maybe add a Minilite tag? They'd look good on a Radio Flyer.

What's with the huge bumper/bodykit and why is it so shiny? Too shiny for me...I never noticed those two lights behind the grill by the way.

I like how it's parked in front of the historical society. Perhaps it belongs to one of the directors...

This is parked dangerously close to the hydrant. It reminds me of a funny pic I saw with a BMW sedan parked directly in front of a hydrant and the fireman had smashed the driver and passenger side windows to bring the hose through.

Nice, LOVE the boy racer look... kinda like a rally racer from the 60's/70's.

Watanabe and Minilite style rims always make cars look good. lol

Absolutely gorgeous. Too shiney, lol. Where I'm from shiney, beautifully kept/restored cars are highly desired. Cars here rust away long before they could develop a patina, so maybe that's a regional thing. Never seen rust patterns like the ones I've seen here. Never seen moss or algae growing on a car! Interesting to see how cars age when they aren't eaten by harsh winters and road salt. Still, I prefer the shiney ones. :)

Anybody knows a color code for this grey color?
